Bio
James Baker is an Investment Manager in the Amadeus Early Stage team, also working across the firm’s growth-stage Secondary Funds and Digital Prosperity Fund.
A chartered accountant, he joined Amadeus in 2019 from Deloitte, where he spent four years as a financial audit manager, specialising in high-growth technology and biotech businesses. He supported clients on M&A integration, IPO readiness, and post-IPO process implementation. Prior to this, James began his career at BDO and holds an LLB in Law with French Law and Language from the University of East Anglia.
An entrepreneur, he founded a premium tequila brand in 2017, successfully launching it in the UK.
